31st Vertebrate Pest Conference
|
31st Vertebrate Pest Conference, an educational event for discussing and exchanging information on human-wildlife conflicts, will be held 11-14 March 2024 at the Monterey Marriott, Monterey, California. Abstracts for presentations should be submitted by 1 November 2023 for full consideration; late abstracts will be considered if space is available. Students are especially encouraged to submit; students receive a discounted pre-registration fee and may apply for a $500 travel grant. At the conference, the Walter E. “Howdy” Howard Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented, and we are now accepting nominations for the award. |

Conservation Education and Outreach Conference

Outreach and education are crucial components of wildlife damage prevention! The Conservation Education and Outreach Conference will be held July 19-21, 2023, in Madison, Wisconsin. Hosted by the CEO Working Group of The Wildlife Society, this conference is open to ALL conservation education and outreach professionals. This year’s theme is “Sharing the Land Ethic.” Activities include two professional development workshops, a poster session, submitted talks, and keynote speakers who will reflect on the past, present, and future of land ethics. All conservation outreach and education poster and talk submissions are welcome, including work-in-progress posters. |
